What an opportunity to have been chosen as a Cool Green Home participant! It just so happens to be the perfect winter to be outfitted with a new efficient furnace, it has kept us toasty warm while the snow continues to accumulate outside.
The Anderson’s Heating and Plumbing crew were a delight to work with. They were quick to complete the job, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I learned more than I ever thought I could about the complex science it is to heat and cool a home. The heater has now been installed for well over two months and I can undoubtedly feel the difference in the warmth of our house and in our lowered monthly heating expenses. Our monthly usage amounts are less, AND we’re staying warmer! These numbers will only get better as we’re still in the process of getting our house insulated by Montana EcoSafe.
Montana EcoSafe went above and beyond and agreed to insulate our basement!! We have been told this will make a HUGE difference in our efficiency and warmth. Chuck first had to complete some preliminary work in order for them to be able to insulate down there, but the work is nearing completion and we can’t wait to have our basement walls filled with their “green” injection foam insulation. Thanks again Cool Green Home for making our house more cool, green, and efficient.
